Grain Leather

Leather basically refers to the hides and skins of cow, calf, deer, ox, steer, bull, red and fallow etc. In other words leather is a material created through the tanning of hides, pelts and skins of animals, primarily cows. Leather is a very important clothing material with immense variety and uses and grain leather being one of the most important type of them all.

Leather which has the grain layer substantially intact and which is finished on the grain side is termed as grain leather. Due to some of its unique qualities, grain leather has been used widely in the industry for many years now. Grain leather is both protective and comfortable. If properly maintained, grain leather is capable of retaining its shape and age as well. Last but not the least grain leather has a fibrous structure that allows it to breathe, and control the temperature within.
